Since Dish Communications Inc. was founded over two decades ago by Amy Grey, the company has helped its clients garner 55 Academy Award® nominations and 16 wins. The firm has also guided its clients to numerous film festival awards, Independent Spirit Awards and nominations, Emmys and Peabody Awards.

Dish Communications was built on the idea that there was a better way to do public relations. Grey wanted to create a company that had the connections and access available to a multi-national firm, but with the commitment and personal relationships only possible with a boutique firm. Dish Communications is that company.

We are proud to represent artists, directors and producers, giving them the individualized campaigns that help further their careers. We are also committed to our corporate and nonprofit clients, and delighted that even the largest companies recognize the value of our service. Our clients remain committed to our firm—and many of them have been with us since our inception, including HBO.

At Dish, the close relationships we have with an extraordinary network of world-class filmmakers, journalists and specialists as well as an immersion in current news and information trends in the thriving documentary community reflect our passion for documentary feature and short films. We leverage this deep knowledge and expertise to craft bold, unique campaigns on behalf of our clients.

At film festivals, we believe in a detailed collaboration with our clients to strategically find the perfect platform to launch a film to the correct reviewers, journalists and potential buyers. We have managed successful campaigns at Sundance, TIFF, Tribeca, SXSW, LAFF, Slamdance and AFI among others.

Whether in film, where we have represented Oscar® winners and nominees; festivals, such as the Sundance Film Festival where we have worked on several prizewinning films; television, where we work with the likes of Netflix, HBO, Discovery Networks, and PBS; or music, where we handled The Police Reunion Tour, one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time, Dish Communications has the experience and passion to make a difference for our clients.
